Sex and Spirituality

I have often been asked about sex in the after life, and is there something that compares. Well, in comparison to that which happens between two people here, in the closeness and togetherness of orgasm simultaneously, there is.

As such a thing physically happens when two love and trust each other without question. Then two souls blending in their recognition of each other without the physical will meet a similar feeling, a giant "Hug" if you like, without all the other stuff involved. Of course sex here carries a responsibility, otherwise we get the diseases, the unwanted pregnancies, that which has always been.

This age is not any different in that than any other. But, as we are more informed than ever in our history, the responsibility is not put over enough, if it were than sexual diseases, and very young single motherhood would not have the media coverage it does. Aids in Africa and other nations through protection would not be as rife as it is.

Sex, like anything else carries "responsibility" same sex relations, whether in humans and other species, has always been known of, heterosexual behaviour, more than covered in art and written word through the ages. the one thing that connects it is that feeling, which is that recognised as the ultimate joy in love.
I often wonder how those promised the 24 virgins for acts of religious war against their fellow man would feel if they had the knowledge that genitals don't exist on the "higher side", there is no need for them, only the "love" is required, the knowing of that ecstasy of joining in energy of two who love.

Responsibility goes a long way in it all.
